Fuck...I haven't updated in awhile. I feel pretty embarrassed about some of the things I used to write, but I guess not embarrassed enough to go back and delete or change posts. I say that, however, before I've gone back and looked at even a fraction of it.
Remember back in high school, when everyone had "senioritis" and was all rabid to go to college and have sex and get drunk (or stay at home and have sex and get drunk)? I remember that, and sorta experiencing the college version of it, except I'm not sure what I'm looking forward to doing. Skydive while doing crack? Nah, that's not really it. I suppose I'm looking forward to having sex and getting drunk just for the hell of it, not because I'm trying to escape some alienating and oppressive environment. I know it's currently the cool thing to avoid doing the opposite of the cool thing (option 3 in cool/hip thing ------> opposite of cool/hip thing ------> opposite of the opposite of the cool/hip thing or just back to original cool/hip), but I'm so fucking tired of trying to decipher what's cool these days (and avoiding it) that I'm just going to say to what I'm going to say. Reed is oppressive and kind of fucked up and I kind of wish I would have gone to a state school. How blasphemous of me. Don't get me wrong, good things have happened for me here, but DAMN, I'm so tired of these hippies and hipsters. It almost makes me miss high school.

So this is the end. I figure I might as well stick this on here like an official thing. No more posts, that's it. Nobody cares anyway, its pointless. Just in case, here's my email: sunday_girl13@hotmail.com.

I can't believe its already almost Friday. We didn't have any school Monday or Tuesday, so the week feels extremely short. Plus, I only had one class today and no Mock Trial. Woke up at 9am, went to school for about an hour and a half, and then went home.
This week has been very interesting. Last Friday we had the FBLA District Competition. It was held at Reynolds, but I didn't find it quite as fun as it was last year at Concordia. I was really sick, so that might have added to the unpleasantness. I got 1st place in Business Communications (which I just sort of walked into, and did in a hurry, like 20 minutes or so) and 5th place in Job Interview (which is the one I actually tried to do well in and practiced).
From Thursday of last week until Monday of this week, pretty much my whole extended weekend, I was sick, and it sucked. On the upside, I got to watch a ton of movies. Among them were:

So I realize I haven't blogged in awhile. I guess I just haven't had the desire. Thing are pretty hectic right now, finals week and everything. The funny thing is, I don't actually have any finals, hooray for me. What have I been doing in the month of January you ask? Well, a whole lot of nothing really, up until a little while ago when I got sucked into the world of Arrested Development, which I've been watching non-stop after buying the Season 1 dvds. Another cool show I can't get enough of is Mr.Show, starring Bob Odenkirk and David Cross. Good stuff.
This last weekend I went and saw Sideways with Helen and Jesse (Walvoord for those of you who might be familiar with him). I loved the movie, it was great. Definitely a movie that is out of the ordinary, and I don't think fits in either the comedy or drama category. It makes me want to go out and become a wine-taster (well, when I'm 21). The scenery in the movie is beautiful, so it also makes me want to move to wine-country in California.

What an odd week. I like variety and everything, but this week has just been bizarre. I think it's mostly because I don't have my car, so it just feels like junior year all over again. My dad rear-ended someone with his car, so he has to use mine for about a week while his gets fixed up. I must say, I've been spoiled for the past 6 months by having a car. Today when I took the bus home from Mock Trial, I felt totally nostalgic. The worst part is that we finally got my cd player to work, and my dad got me some new rear speakers (good ones apparently) but I can't have my car. Oh well.
Usually my week days are pretty similiar, but not so this week. On Monday, I didn't have Mock Trial after school, so I went and played darts at Helen's house, had taco soup, and went to Best Buy to get Cursive "The Ugly Organ" and a new 72 cd-case (you can never have enough of those). Then I went home and copied some of my cds so that I could have a copy in the car too, and watched "Gattaca", which was really good.
On Tuesday, I had to work, which was easy because apparently no one wants Burgerville in 30 degree weather. Today, I had Mock Trial, and got a lot done for once. Hopefully it will snow tonight, although I doubt it would be anything major.

Winter break rules. It always does, but this year has been the best. Unfortunately, it's getting scarier and scarier as school begins to approach. I haven't done any of the homework I was supposed to do. I'm really, really not looking forward to doing it, or working on Sunday.
Here's what I've been doing for the last few days:
Monday - Went to Lloyd Center and Pioneer Place with Jason, looking for Risk (the game). Apparently, malls don't believe in board games, unless they're over-priced or special editionized. We ended up just going to Fred Meyer and getting it there. Went home and played an 2 hour or so of Risk with Brad, followed by Curb Your Enthusiam, "Napolean Dynamite" (you can shoot me but I think it's overrated), a game of Monopoly, and more Curb Your Enthusiam (awesome show).
Tuesday - Went shopping at Clackamas to blow some Christmas money. I got a pair of pants, a shirt, a robe, slippers, a throw blanket for my bed, and other assorted goodies. I had to race home to change for work, which sucked because it was rush-hour.
Wednesday - Lounged around the house, doing odd chores, avoiding homework (man I should really get on that). I looked at my FAFSA, which was somewhat productive. Saw "Spanglish" with Helen and Jason. It was really good, although different from what I expected. I liked it a lot.
Thursday - God, I haven't done anything today. I feel so lazy right now. Oh well, I guess I should enjoy it, because it's almost the last morsel of laziness I get until spring break. I'm going to help my dad install the best present I got this Christmas (a car cd player from Jason) along with some speakers that my dad kindly contributed (or will contribute, because he isn't back yet). I'm really excited, I can't wait until my dad gets here.
Anyway, hopefully I'll get my butt in gear with my homework so that I can enjoy the rest of the break even more.
*UPDATE*
Okay, we just spent 6.5 hours trying to get the damn thing to work. Actually, it's not the cd player's fault at all, it works fine, great as a matter of fact (because we tested it outside of the car). The problem is, the old stereo had some messed up wires and different thingymabobbers, which don't correspond with the new cd player. Its all just really confusing and frustrating. We took a bunch of things of things apart, so could snake a different wire through. We had to take the car out of the garage, which was freakin' cold and wet, so that my dad could open the door wider and manuever the wires better. What a nightmare, and it's still not over. The cd player just teased me, by working when we tested it and making me yearn for more awesomeness.
Here's a picture, by the way:

Wow, I just had a really weird experience. I went to type in www.blogger.com, and I guess I had google on the mind, so I typed in www.boogle.com. Yeah, that was really worth the 2.5 seconds it took for you to read that. You'll never get that time back. Or this. Or this....or even this. LLLAALAaLALALAL. Anyway, back to reality.
So, it's Christmas Eve. My family is weird, we open presents the night before. Here's what I've gotten so far:

- From Grandma: 20 bucks. Along with two dvds ("Weekend at Bernie's" and one I've never heard of. Wow Grandma). Also, a huge black jacket with pink flowers on it.
- From my sister and my brother-in-law: 20 buck gift card to Best Buy. A turtleneck/sweater thing, it's pretty cool.
- From dad: 60 bucks which I already spent.
